I've heard you bash Bush before for being too black and white on issues, yet you argue that at some point, the universe can be reduced to a bunch of ones and zeros. Sounds to me like you are a flip-flopper.

Karl, nice to hear from you. I can't wait to see the movie about you. You may think that I have contradicted myself, but if you read "The Bit and the Pendulum", you would understand I am only suggesting that it is possible that there are some absolute "yes" or "no" states at some sub-atomic level, and at some fraction of time, and that like a computer program, the information of the universe is constantly recalculating itself based on all these building blocks of analog bits. The thing is, when you mix up a lot of blacks and whites and throw in some new elements to calculate like hue, lightness, and saturation, you get color. And color makes the world colorful. Maybe there is some room in war and politics to be somewhere in between black and white. Maybe we're with you on some issues, but not all. Can you dig it?

    Don Rumsfeld

You are obviously not with us. There is a place in Cuba for people like you...

    Dick Cheney

Don, get him on the next flight to Guantanamo.
