    Philip Morris

This sounds like a gift, but we are really going to suffer now. This is just hush money so we don't complain about how harsh the government has been gradually taking away our subsidies, and those greedy lawyers suing us right and left for selling products that people want to buy. Sure, we sort of mislead people for a while about the health benefits of smoking, but come on. Now we're going to have to resort to growing corn or some other less profitable crop. And you people make it sound like the taxpayers are doing us a big favor. $10B dollars? That is less than 5% of the cost of the Iraq war so far I think, more or less, though the final cost will be hard to know.
